New York City -
Neil Patrick Harris leads an all-star cast of
Stephen Sondheim's "Company" with The New York Philharmonic. Performances run April 7 to April 9, 2011. The award-winning musical is produced and directed by
Lonny Price, and will be conducted by Sondheim specialist,
Paul Gemignani with the original orchestrations for a 35-piece orchestra by
Jonathan Tunick. The production is being videotaped for a release in movie theaters this June.

The story of "Company" follows five couples and their friend Robert (Neil Patrick Harris), the perpetual bachelor, "Company" explores the true meaning of being in a relationship through a series of vignettes. "Company" with music and lyrics by Sondheim and book by
George Furth was originally produced and directed on Broadway by
Harold Prince and was the winner of the 1971 Tony Award for Best Musical.
The New York Philharmonic is bringing this production of Sondheim's "Company" to movie theaters this summer with the help of producers; Lonny Price,
Matt Cowat,
Ellen M. Krass,
Stewart F. Lane,
Bonnie Comley and Screenvision.
