Westhampton Beach - Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter-guitarist Susan Tedeschi will perform her unique blend of blues, rock, folk and soul at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Friday, November 6 at 8 p.m. in the Mollie Parnis Auditorium Tickets are $85, $70, $55.

This gifted lass will blow you away with the sheer power of her talent. After four Grammy Award nominations, collaborations with Willie Nelson, Toots & The Maytals, husband Derek Trucks and countless others, Tedeschi is unsurpassed. With talent to spare, Tedeschi can belt out soulful blues like no other - and, her guitar playing is already legendary!

Tedeschi grew up outside of Boston, MA and was singing with local bands by the age of 13. She pursued her passion for music at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and established herself as one of New England's top drawing live acts. After releasing her debut album, "Better Days," Tedeschi achieved an impressive commercial music breakthrough with her sophomore album, "Just Won't Burn." The album became a massive grass roots success based on word of mouth alone. "Just Won't Burn" achieved Gold sales status and won Tedeschi a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist, alongside such unlikely company as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Macy Gray and Kid Rock. She was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Performance. Her next release, 2002's acclaimed "Wait for Me" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album. But her fourth album, "Hope and Desire," marked a substantial departure for the versatile artist, presenting her in the role of interpretive vocalist.

Tedeschi's most recent album, "Back to the River," is a mature, soulful work that demonstrates how much singer/guitarist/songwriter Tedeschi has grown in the decade since she burst onto the scene. The album showcases Tedeschi's multiple talents as a deeply expressive singer, a melodic guitarist and a distinctive, evolving songwriter.

Earlier this year Tedeschi performed "Talking About," a rocking track from her acclaimed new album on "Late Night Conan O'Brien." Shortly after that she and her husband Trucks performed at the Southern Ball in Washington DC, one of the official events of the 2009 Presidential Inaugural celebration. Most recently, Tedeschi performed the National Anthem at the Boston Red Socks game at Fenway Park on October 11.
