Southampton - Southampton Cultural Center has announed a master class format designed to get singers of any level on their feet. Students enjoy a friendly and relaxed environment in which they are both audience and participants.

Instructor Marianne Koerner puts emphasis on both breathing and performance technique. No audition required, but students must bring a song they want to sing at the first class. For ages 16 and up.

The tuition is $130. Classes meet on Wednesdays, Sept. 30 through Nov. 4, from 7:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m at Southampton Cultural Center, 25 Pond Lane, Southampton
