Dave Mason, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee (2004) and a co-founder of legendary rock super-group
Traffic, will perform at The Stephen Talkhouse this weekend, Aug. 28 and Aug. 29 at 8 p.m.
Mason is a respected musician with hit song contributions including "Feelin' Alright" and "We Just Disagree." He has played and recorded with many of the era's most notable musicians, including
Jimi Hendrix,
Michael Jackson,
The Rolling Stones,
Eric Clapton,
George Harrison and
Fleetwood Mac.
After more than 40 years in the industry, Mason recently released his first solo album in 20 years, "26 Letters and 12 Notes." Today, he continues to travel with his band and performs more than 100 shows annually around the world. Mason is also involved with the non-profit Work Vessels for Veterans, an organization providing veterans with the necessary tools, equipment and know-how to re-start their civilian endeavors and careers. He is even donating album proceeds and concert performances to the cause.
