Westhampton Beach - Broadway's brilliant ingénue, Kelli O'Hara, will perform at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Sunday, May 24 at 8 p.m.

With her brilliant soprano and iconic beauty, O'Hara is the toast of Broadway! She has earned rave reviews and two Tony nominations for her starring roles in
The Light in the Piazza" and "The Pajama Game," and most recently, standing ovations for her critically acclaimed role in "South Pacific." In this intimate evening of song, Kelli will celebrate the diversity of the American Songbook, including contemporary favorites and beloved standards. This Broadway Baby is not to be missed!

Five Facts About Kelli O'Hara
 • Kelli O'Hara was born and raised on a farm in Edmond, Oklahoma, where she had little exposure to theater, opera or classical music. She graduated with a B.A. in Music from Oklahoma City University and, after winning the State Metropolitan Opera Competition, moved to New York and enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Institute.

 • O'Hara made her Broadway debut in "Jekyll & Hyde" and followed it with "Sondheim's Follies," "Sweet Smell of Success" (opposite John Lithgow,) and "Dracula." In addition to her critically acclaimed Carnegie Hall solo debut with the New York Pops conducted by Rob Fisher, O'Hara has also appeared in-concert with Barbara Cook at this famed venue. She has performed at The Kennedy Center with Marvin Hamlisch, and at the National Symphony Orchestra based at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Lincoln Center, Town Hall, Cooper Union, Joe's Pub, and with the Philly Pops conducted by Peter Nero.

 • O'Hara triumphed as Eliza Doolittle in the New York Philharmonic production of "My Fair Lady" But most recently, she starred as Nellie Forbush in the Lincoln Center Theater revival of "South Pacific." O'Hara was nominated for the 2005 Tony Award for Supporting or Features Actress in a Musical for "The Light in the Piazza," the 2006 Tony Award for Actress in a Musical for "The Pajama Game," and the 2008 Tony Award for Actress in a Musical for "South Pacific."

 • O'Hara is married to Greg Naughton, son of actor/singer James Naughton, and brother of actress/singer Keira Naughton. They are expecting their first child in July 2009.

 • O'Hara can be heard as the voice of producer Beth Totenbag on PBS's 2008 animated series "Click and Clack's As the Wrench Turns."
