In celebration of both their and Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center’s 20th anniversary, Beatles cover band, The Fab Faux will return to the Center for one night with two, completely different performances.
Founded by the bassist for Late Show with David Letterman, Will Lee, and featuring Conan bandleader, Jimmy Vivino, as well as Rich Pagano, Frank Agnello, and Jack Petruzzelli, the Fab Faux has been called “The Greatest Beatles cover band,” by Rolling Stone Magazine.
Rolling Stone senior editor David Fricke lauded, “The Faux invigorate the artistry of even the Beatles’ most intricate studio masterpieces with top chops and Beatlemaniac glee.”
The band prides itself as never trying to impersonate the original members of the Beatles, but simply playing the music in accurate live performances, in both musical reading and in the spirit of the iconic group.
The Fab Faux uproots the concept of a tribute band by performing Beatles songs that the original band never performed live, tackling the most demanding material live on stage.
The anniversary celebration concert will be on Saturday, July 28, the first concert at 7 p.m. and the second, completely different concert at 10 p.m.
Tickets start at $50.
The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center is located at 76 Main Street in Westhampton Beach.
