Every year, the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill dazzles the Hamptons with its unique Salon Series, the Museum’s classical music program featuring world-class artists performing in an intimate, casual setting. This year, pianists William McNally, Alexandria Le, and Nadejda Vlaeva, alongside the string quintet, Sybarite5, will take the stage on four consecutive Fridays – beginning October 7th.
“Salon Series creates an intimate and interactive environment for master musicians of classical and contemporary music to share their performances in new ways,” explained Curator of Special Projects Corinne Erni. “The audience is invited to engage in a dialogue with the musicians and learn more about their creative process and program choices.”
Concertgoers will not only be able to enjoy beautiful music in an equally beautiful setting, but they will also be able to interact and mingle with the masterminds behind the instruments. Performers will offer insight and share personal experiences about their work, and spectators will have the opportunity to get to know the artists.
Salon Series will begin on Friday, October 7th with pianist William McNally, and the series will run every Friday, concluding with pianist Nadejda Vlaeva on October 28th. Pianist Alexandra Le will perform on October 14th, while Sybarite5 will enchant audience members on October 21st. Concerts begin at 6 p.m.
Tickets to Salon Series, which include Museum admission, are $20; $10 for Parrish Members.
