In celebration of the closing of the East End Collected2 showcase, Southampton Arts Center will present a performance from The Nancy Atlas Project on Saturday, June 11th.

East End Collected2 is a multi-artist show that was curated by artist Paton Miller. It showcases works collected by local residents from the artistic community that they support.

The exhibit reflects Miller's vision of the East End as "an ideal environment for artists to create work." Miller commemorates the area's community of artists, and celebrates the collectors who have supported them and the Southampton Arts Center. He also marks the Center as a home where the local arts scene can continue to flourish.

Atlas has been described as "the missing link between Lucinda Williams and Sheryl Crow." Nancy and her band of Journeymen have been dominating the East End music scene for many years now. Some of the artists Atlas has opened for include Elvis Costello, Lucinda Williams, Toots and the Maytals, Jimmy Buffet, Crosby, Stills, Nash and many more.

East End Collected2 contributing artists include Monica Banks, Walter Channing, Eugene Cuttica, Peter Dayton, Angela Errico, Toinette Gay, Melinda Hackett, Glen Hansen, Gary Hatmann, Michael Jurick, Henry Koehler, Bill Komoskim Karyn Mannix, Fluvio Masi, Monica Mason, Hildy Mazy, Jon Mulhern, Miles Partington, Vincent Pepi, Dalton Portella, Will Ryan, Scott Santangelo, Mark Seidenfelt, David Slater, Ned Smyth, Dennis Snyder, Adam Straus, Mary Stubelek, Barbara Thomas, Hans Van De Bovenkamp, Charles Waller, Mark Webber, Nico Yektai and Almond Zigmund.

This will be the Nancy Atlas Project's second year performing in tribute to the East End Collected2 Exhibition. Admission to the concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m., is $15.

Southampton Arts Center is located at 25 Jobs Lane in Southampton. For more information, call 631-283-0967 or visit southamptonartscenter.org

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
