“This is our 29th year and we are excited about being able to bring this music to the community,” shared Reverend Maryanne McElroy, who has served as the Harvest Gospel Concert Series Artistic Director since its inception. “This is always an opportunity for the diversity of the community to come together during the holiday season.”
On Thursday, November 19th, the complimentary seasonal performances, presented by East End Arts, will debut at the Mattituck Presbyterian Church (12605 Main Road, Mattituck). The 29th Annual Harvest Gospel Concert Series will continue on Friday, November 20th at the Hamptons United Methodist Church (160 Main Street, Southampton), and conclude on Saturday, November 21st at the Friendship Baptist Church (59 Anchor Street, Flanders).
The spectacular trio of shows, which feature over 70 talented singers from the Harvest Gospel Choir, will commemorate the joy of music from the soul during the non-denominational celebrations. The annual production always brings out attendees of all age groups and backgrounds. This year’s program will showcase a few special guest solos from East End Arts Music Masters Fellowship R&B and soul vocal choir students, under the direction of Music Masters mentor, professional vocalist Anastasia René.
Concerts begin at 8 p.m., and admission is free.
