One of Broadway’s brightest stars is visiting the Hamptons over Labor Day weekend. On Saturday, September 5th at 8 p.m., the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center is welcoming Bernadette Peters, who will delight the audience with her inimitable voice, versatility, and charisma during a series of classic pop and show tunes.
The actress and singer has been featured in films, television, and theater, of course. During her career, which has spanned five decades, Peters has been nominated for an impressive seven Tony Awards, taking home two (as well as an honorary award), and nine Drama Desk Awards, winning three.
Most recently, Peters starred in Stephen Sondheim’s “Follies” and “A Little Night Music,” and she can currently been seen in Amazon Prime’s hit series, “Mozart in the Jungle.”
Tickets begin at $150.
Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center is located at 76 Main Street in Westhampton Beach. For more information, call 631-288-1500 or visit www.whbpac.org.
