A diverse blend of the New York City
indie rock scene is set to headline in the Hamptons this weekend. Reserved For Rondee, featuring lead singer Trevor Vaughn, guitarists Billy Magnussen (who stars as Rapunzel's Prince in "Into the Woods
") and Nick Fokas, bassist Tom Degnan and drummer Warren Hemenway, will take center stage at Guild Hall
on Friday, July 10th at 8 p.m. The evening will also include a performance from 2/3 Goat and Pandafan.
According to the band, their music "feature poignant cultural observations, passionate performances and lyrical magic, with 3 parts awesome, 2 parts hugs, and 1 tsp. of you're damn right that just happened!" Reserved For Rondee's music is influenced by classic artists like The Beatles
, Led Zeppelin
, and U2
, as well as contemporaries like the Black Keys, the White Stripes, and Arcade Fire.
2/3 Goat showcases vocals from Annalyse McCoy and Ryan Dunn. Their sounds blend together an eclectic mix of alt-country, bluesy bluegrass and classic rock.
Indie-folk trio Pandafan will open the concert. The self-proclaimed mermaid folk-rock group consists of Delaney Hafener on Guitar/Accordion/Keyboard/Bass/Vocals; Grace DeNatale on Violin/Percussion/Vocals; and Vanessa Grasing on vocals/guitar. Their music is inspired by bands like Mumford, First Aid Kit and Fleet Foxes.
Tickets are $25 for general admission and $23 members. VIP tickets, which include a post-show reception, are available for $70 and $68 for members.
