Jay & The Americans, one of the ’60s and ’70s greatest doo-wop groups, will hit the stage at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (WHBPAC) on Sunday, February 15th at 8 p.m.
Known for breaking the charts and setting record album sales with favorites like “Tonight” from “West Side Story,” “Some Enchanted Evening,” “This Magic Moment,” and more, the band’s appearance is expected to heat up the Hamptons this winter with nostalgic hits. From 1962 to 1971, Jay & The Americans charted an unprecedented 12 top 10 records.
The group features founding members Sandy Deanne, Howie Kane, and Marty Sanders, and the voice of Jay Reinecke. In 2002, the band joined the ranks of the greatest vocal groups in Rock and Roll history when they were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
