Suffolk Theater Celebrates Jazz History Month

The Suffolk Theater is celebrating Jazz History month with performances from four talented jazz groups.

The celebrations begin with Count Basie Orchestra who will make their East End debut at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 7. Then enjoy the signature sounds of the Stan Kenton Alumni Band at 8 p.m. on Monday, April 15. In another East End debut, Tito Puente Jr. will lead an All Star Tribute to Lionel Hampton at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. The Suffolk Theater tributes to Jazz History month culminates with a performance from the Duke Ellington Birthday Tribute featuring the Vinnie Cutro Quartet at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 28.
