Wainscott - East Hampton Studio on 77 Industrial Road in Wainscott, will host a concert on Saturday, May 14 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. as part of the Hampton Jams Series. The May 14 event will feature three bands: Blue Coupe (headliner) and Charlie Nice (warm up), and Paul Maho and New Life Crisis (warm-up). Cost is $40 per ticket.

The headliner band, Blue Coupe, includes original founding members of Blue Oyster Cult, Albert and Joe Bouchard(drums and guitar, respectively) and Hall of Fame nominee bass guitarist Dennis Dunaway, founder of Alice Cooper.

Albert Bouchard is the co-writer and arranger of many of Blue Oyster Cult's biggest hits, including "Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll," "R.U. Ready to Rock" and many others. Dunaway co-wrote Alice Cooper's biggest smash hits, including "I'm 18," "School's Out" and "Under My Wheels." Together, these groups have sold over 15 million albums in the United States alone and have been awarded over 30 gold and platinum records worldwide.

The warm-up band, Charlie Nice, can best be described as a one of a kind. Blues singer/bass player "Cryin" Tim Lyons and guitar player Anthony Truglio have been co-writing and collaborating their musical efforts for years. Guitar player Truglio has been playing for 30 years and he co-founded the band Liege Lord, pioneers of early power metal. Blues singer/bass player Lyons has been on stage and performed with blues legend Hubert Sumlin (The Howlin Wolfs). Drummer Anthony Realbuto is from the drummer tour circuit and has traveled and played extensively around the world.

The warm-up band, Paul Maho and New Life Crisis are a local band from the East End.

Coming up May 21: Sweet Cyanide (headliner), Attention Deficit Society (warm-up) and Shadow Eden (warm-up).

East Hampton Studio and The Enclave Inn chain are owned by Michael Wudyka. East Hampton Studio is the largest indoor space in the Hamptons, hosting concerts, charity events, and TV and movie productions.

Tickets are available through www.hamptonjams.com.
