Westhampton Beach - The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center in collaboration with WEHM 96.9 & 92.9FM kicked off its brand new Breakout Artist Series, an impressive line-up of incredibly talented, young singer-songwriter-musicians.

"We already have great music for all music lovers," Executive Director
Clare Bisceglia noted recently, "but this series is designed to attract a younger audience."
The Breakout Artist Series will highlight "up and coming" artists through April and will start up again in September. Those artists featured in the spring line-up are:
Jackie Greene
Masterful Musician - May 8 at 8 p.m.
He's blues, he's rock, he's folk, he's jazz, he's country and he's cooler than you. Greene has been labeled a chameleon of American music. Showcasing his masterful songwriting technique, a phenomenal singing range, and effortless abilities on keyboards and guitar, he is one of the hardest working musicians on the live music circuit. He has fronted the band of Grateful Dead bassist,
Phil Lesh and was offered the permanent keyboard spot in
B.B. King's touring band. Never one to rest in one genre, Greene and his ace band are sure to take you on a wild musical ride! Tickets are $25.
