Montauk - Photographer Michael Ruggiero will be on exhibit at the Montauk Library Gallery, from Oct. 2 through Nov. 2. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Although he makes his living as a local chef in Montauk, Ruggiero has been an accomplished photographer for over 20 years with exhibitions from Paris, France to Denver, Colorado. His newest exhibition "Montauk At Night" will include images of a twilight world with neon signs and
unseen presences when day turns to night on Long Island's most eastern hamlet.
The Montauk Library is located at 871 Montauk Highway, in Montauk. For more information go to www.suffolk.lib.ny.us, or call 631-668-3377, or 631-907-4238, rugg007@optonline.net.

Michael Ruggiero has done an excellent job
capturing a different perspective of Montauk
in his new and intriguing photo gallery. If
you know Montauk, you can look at any one of
his pieces of work and instantly recognize
where it was taken in Montauk. He showed me a
side of Montauk that is so surreal yet hardly
noticed. I found myself looking at each
picture several times and each time I would
notice something new and interesting. Check it
out and if you like, take a piece of his work
home! You do not want to miss a chance to see
Montauk from this truly unique perspective.
