The Southampton Artists Association (SAA) will hold its 18th Annual Art in the Park at Agawam Park in Southampton on Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Over 50 artists will sell a wide variety of fine artwork including paintings on oil, acrylic, watercolors and pastels. Photography will include metal, canvas, and framed work along with matted prints. Additionally, members of the Association will be selling their own framed and bid art artwork in their own double tent.
“There truly is something for everyone at this fine art show. It is a great time to come to the Village, stroll in our park and check out the Village restaurants,” SAA Board member Danielle Leef explained. “Come and meet the artists and support local fine art.”
On Saturday, radio station WEHM will be streaming live from Art in the Park with great giveaways.
A caricaturist will also be available to commission works on the spot and the Southampton Cub Scouts will host a bake sale with all proceeds supporting the troop.
Admission to the art show is free.
SAA consists of artists based on the South Fork, from Remsenburg to Montauk, and on the North Fork, from Calverton to Orient Point.
