For the third consecutive year, Manhattan-based Johannes Vogt Gallery is presenting an extraordinary, thought provoking pop up exhibition in the Hamptons. The Barn Show will be on view Friday, July 28 through Sunday, August 13 at a private property in East Hampton. All are welcome to attend the Opening Reception on Friday, July 28 from 6 to 8 p.m.

"We're bringing another cutting edge show to the Hamptons to challenge the audience out east," said Johannes Vogt. "This year's show is heavily focused on the use of technology and creativity, so we're presenting a video installation, digital embroidery on canvas, a work that was painted with a drone, and a performative digital print sculpture, amongst many other works."

First the very first time, the gallery is collaborating with an independent curator for this project. Johannes Vogt Gallery brought in curator Lindsay Howard who selected over 20 incredible artists that work in diverse media to be featured in Unquestionable Optimism. "Curator Lindsay Howard pulled in some of the most prominent young artists of the digital generation," noted Vogt.

Unquestionable Optimism joins artists together who maintain a persistent focus on positivity in their work, often in an effort to persuade, exaggerate, or cultivate a particular point of view. Many of these artists use images or materials from pop culture as a way of breaking down and understanding messages of affirmation. The exhibition reinforces the notion that the future will be great if we do not question it.

This year's exhibition features Ivana Basic, Michael Bell-Smith, Trudy Benson, Petra Cortright, Alexandra Gorczynski, Jeanette Hayes, Marc Horowitz, Austin Lee, Sarah Meyohas, Alejandro Ospina, Hannah Perry, Jon Rafman, Caris Reid, Tabor Robak, Rachel Rossin, Borna Sammak, Travess Smalley, Jen Stark, Geetha Thurairajah, Anne Vieux, Addie Wagenknecht, and Wendy White.
