Have you just completed or are nearly finished with your most impressive masterpiece to date? Every year, The Retreat and RJD Gallery in Sag Harbor invite the East End arts community to spotlight their skills during the Hamptons Juried Art Show. And the time has come for local artists to pick their most beloved works and submit them to the two organization's open call.

"This is an opportunity for artists to realize their projects in an established gallery in Sag Harbor, generously donated by board member Richard Demato, while making a contribution to end the cycle of domestic abuse on the East End," shared Loretta K. Davis, Executive Director of The Retreat.

The exhibition is open to photography, oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed-media, graphics, drawing, 2D, 3D, and sculpture works and the top pieces will win a prestigious honor. "Entering its 7th year, Hamptons Juried Art Show has welcome hundreds of artists as they compete for a chance at the grand prize; a Top 4 Group Show at the RJD Gallery in Sag Harbor, New York," shared Eve Gianni Corio, Director of RJD Gallery. "This competition is a unique way for local, national and international artists to support The Retreat, Eastern Long Island's only domestic violence service agency."

The deadline for submissions is Monday, February 29th and winners will be announced by Tuesday, March 15th. The Hamptons Juried Art Show will be on view Saturday, May 14th through Tuesday, June 7th. An opening night reception will be held on Saturday, May 14th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gallery.

The entry fee is $50 per piece and 100 percent of the entry fees support The Retreat.

RJD Gallery is located at 90 Main Street in Sag Harbor. For more information, visit hamptonsjuriedartshow.com.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
