Inspired by Smithsonian Museums who offer free admission every day, Smithsonian magazine is hosting Museum Day Live! on Saturday, September 27, 2014. During the annual event, participating museums open their doors to anyone presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket for free. Once again, Guild Hall in East Hampton is participating in the nationwide happening.

Robert Motherwell: The East Hampton Years, 1944-1952 and Arlene Slavin: Intersections are currently on display at Guild Hall.

The Museum Day Live! ticket provides free admission for two people, per household, per address. You must register for the event online and then present the ticket to receive free admission. Those who sign up for Museum Day Live!, will also receive the digital edition of Smithsonian magazine free for one year, starting with the October edition.

Guild Hall is located at 158 Main Street in East Hampton. For more information, visit www.guildhall.org.
