The Dodds and Eder Home Gallery and Outdoor Sculpture Garden will present its 6th art exhibition this season on Saturday, August 23, 2014. The exhibit, "Across The Pond," features two artists making their Hamptons debut; British painter and writer Annemarie Waugh and French photographer Nina Girolamo. The opening ceremony will feature a live performance by Opera Soprano Singer Amaya Arberas from Spain and her Spanish Peruvian guitarist, David Galvez.

"These are words and sayings that live in my dreams and memories," Waugh said. "It's a bit of fun; light-hearted, making out, in colors its pinks, reds and oranges, with delightful swirls, dots and dashes, it's giggles, it's chocolate, it's ever so flirty, it's sort of innocent pleasure, exploring."

Girolamo is known for her images of wild horses from the Camargue region in the south of France, which are captured from the back of a Harley. Her photos are said to capture the human spirit, featuring everything from stampeding horses to a "couple" finding love.

Waugh is best known for her artistic humor, with paintings like "Facebook Ruined My Day" and "The Clock Struck One She Had To Run." With a mix of modern and classical thoughts, her use of figurative lines and splashes of color make her work unforgettable.

"Across The Pond" will be on view from Thursday, August 21, through Monday, September 22, 2014.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
