Engel's abstract work is inspired by the interaction between light and water he witnessed during his summers spent off the coast of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. During this time, he recorded his observations of the interplay. The lines and arcs created by this remarkable, natural interaction are reminiscent of the ancient markings of our ancestors. "Open Paths" is inspired by light and water relationships, which he observed from his Sag Harbor studio overlooking Long Pond.

These abstract works involve simple lines that bend into triangles of burnt orange, yellow, red, green, and gold. To the viewer, viewing his work is similar to peering through a microscope at dancing colorful molecules. The work then encourages the viewer to ponder and allow the journey to unfold.

Engel's work is part of many art collections from New York City to the East End, as well as on a larger scale in places on the East and West Coasts and Europe. Over the last twelve years, Engel has gained significant recognition as an artist, and Romany Kramoris Gallery has enjoyed the privilege of displaying his work for the last seven years.

The Gallery is open 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and open until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.

Romany Kramoris Gallery is located at 41 Main Street in Sag Harbor. For more information, call 631-725-2499 or visit www.kramorisgallery.com.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
