"Look into the eyes of dogs and cats, they love you no matter what," said artist Eric Ginsburg.

Known for his humanistic approach to pet portraiture, Ginsburg manages to capture the soulfulness of each animal he paints. His work has been exhibited and is held in museums, galleries, and private collections throughout the U.S. and Europe.

The artist's latest exhibition is a collection of previously commissioned portraits on loan from private collections. Dorfman Projects presents Eric Ginsburg's "Pet Portraits to Benefit the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons," will debut on Thursday, April 10. The goal of the show is to encourage guests to commission Ginsburg to paint their pet's portrait with 30 percent of all proceeds donated to the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) of the Hamptons.

During the opening reception from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., ARF will be in attendance with four adorable pets in need of loving homes. As an incentive for attendees to adopt at the opening, New York City's premier doggie day care, Biscuits and Baths, is offering free training lessons. The fundraiser will also feature raffles from Mungo & Maude, Britain's classy pet outfitters.

Dorfman Projects is located at 529 West 20th Street #7E in New York City. For more information call 212-352-2272 or visit www.dorfmanprojects.com.
