Southampton landscape painter Eileen Dawn Skretch and printmaker Rosamaria Eisler will be featured at the new East End Arts exhibit.
Skretch creates beautiful scenic and serene landscapes on wood surfaces, most of which begin en plein air. Back in her studio, she relies on those studies and photos to create her larger works.
Mexican-born Ridge printmaker, painter and educator Rosamaria Eisler is inspired by her daily experiences when creating her work. This artist who also received an M.A. from Adelphi University, and a B.S. in Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Morelos, Cuernavaca, Mexico, incorporates background into her art. She creates her art using different processes, such as intaglio, relief, and monotypes.
Exhibits at the Rosalie Dimon Gallery are a joint effort by East End Arts and the Jamesport Manor Inn to introduce exceptional artists and their work to the East End communities.
The exhibition is on view August 2 through October 30.
The Rosalie Dimon Gallery at the Jamesport Manor Inn is located at 370 Manor Lane. For more information call 631-722-0500 or visit www.JamesportManorInn.com.
