East Hampton - Art inspired by direct observation of our cherished local farmlands, flower fields, salt marshes, beaches, including many that have been conserved by Peconic Land Trust, will be presented in an exhibition and sale by Plein Air Peconic to benefit Peconic Land Trust, on Columbus Day Weekend, October 7 through October 10 at Ashawagh Hall in The Springs, East Hampton. A selection of exquisite but moderately priced smaller works will be available in Ashawagh Hall's "Petite Gallery Room."

The artists of Plein Air Peconic are painters Casey Chalem Anderson, Susan D'Alessio, Aubrey Grainger, Gail Kern, Michele Margit, Gordon Matheson, Joanne Rosko, Eileen Dawn Skretch, and photographers Tom Steele, Kathryn Szoka, and Ellen Watson.

Celebrate Plein Air Peconic's sixth year with their traditional evening reception on Saturday, October 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Sunday, October 9 at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., a "Meet the Artists" morning coffee will be held.
