Sag Harbor - The Tulla Booth Gallery proudly presents "Horse Whisperings" by Bob Tabor who is a creative director and photographer who made his name with large-scale prints of his equestrian work and his earlier stunning landscape and seascape "portraits" of the East End of Long Island. His horse photographs reflect a unique essence intimacy never before captured by the camera. Each portrait combines the inner strength, sprit and power of nature's most beautiful athlete. Bob does not name his images, instead he titles them by series number. The reason is he wants the people that buy the photograph to have the freedom to personalize the image and relate to it in their own manner. There will be a reception held on Saturday, September 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Tabor's unique slant on the equine essence illuminates every muscle, every sinew, and every hair. Only natural light is used, as he insists on meeting his subjects on their own terms. They, in turn allow him to capture their very soul.

The Tulla Booth Gallery, founded in 2003, features both vintage and 20th century contemporary photography, and offers authentic images by some of the finest photographers both established, world renowned and emerging photographers. The gallery also shows authentic celebrity and documentary by Magnum photographers, and local land and seascapes, and still-life by local emerging artists. The gallery's goal is to present iconic images that transcend their subject and are timeless and collectable, and offer a service where delivery of art on site to the client's home.

Gallery Hours are 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday through Tuesday.
