Amagansett - The Pamela Williams Gallery is pleased to announce the an exhibition of paintings and works on paper by
Derek Buckner and
Janet Jennings, and photography by
Ken Robbins. The evident link between these three is their mastery of light and shadow.
Buckner's powerful brushwork charges all of his paintings for this show, including local scenes as well as some New York City and Brooklyn views and a few of his quintessential portraits of trucks. Jennings evocative paintings convey the play of light and dark along the shoreline of Gardiner's Bay and the wetlands of Accabonac and Napeague. Robbins is well known for capturing the last light and dramatic beauty of many of our favorite haunts. His imagery is always expressive and often surreal.
The exhibition runs through September 5. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. For further information please contact the gallery at 631-267-7817 or info@pamelawilliamsgallery.com.
