Get a rare look into the life of iconic actor Marlon Brando during a screening of director Stevan Riley's "Listen to Me Marlon" on Saturday, August 1st at 8 p.m. Taking place at Guild Hall, as part of the Hamptons International Film Festival 7th Annual SummerDocs Series presented by TNT's Public Morals, the film uses unseen and unheard personal archives from Brando.

"Listen to Me Marlon" gives viewers an all access pass into the private world of Marlon Brando, through his own storytelling. Riley combed through hundreds of hours of audio tapes, which included everything from to-do lists to self-hypnosis, to create the film, which provides a captivating glance into the actor's life. "Listen to Me Marlon" unearths comical and unanticipated turns in the actor's thought process; alternating between light and dark, humor and self-psychoanalysis.

"It's a blast to hear Marlon Brando talking about his life in 'Listen to Me Marlon,' which is almost entirely narrated by the actor, largely through snippets of audio recordings he made over decades," said Manohla Dargis of The New York Times.

After the viewing, Alec Baldwin will host a conversation with filmmaker Stevan Riley.

Guild Hall is located at 158 Main Street in East Hampton. For more information, visit hamptonsfilmfest.org.
