When prominent linguistics professor Alice Howland (Julianne Moore) receives the devastating diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer's, the disease tests her relationship with herself and those around her. Howland desperately tries to stay connected to the person she once was during the heartbreaking journey. Directed by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland, the film broaches the topic with a compassionate yet truthful look at Alzheimer's. "Still Alice" also stars Kristen Stewart
and Alec Baldwin
"Still Alice" will close the 2014 HIFF on Monday, October 13 at Guild Hall
in East Hampton. The 22nd Annual Hamptons International Film Festival will be held over Columbus Day Weekend, from Thursday October 9, through Monday, October 13.
