"Closing our Festival with the US premiere of Still Alice featuring a mesmerizing performance from one of the great actors of our generation, Julianne Moore, is sure to be a moving end to five days of films from around the world," said Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) Artistic Director David Nugent.

When prominent linguistics professor Alice Howland (Julianne Moore) receives the devastating diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer's, the disease tests her relationship with herself and those around her. Howland desperately tries to stay connected to the person she once was during the heartbreaking journey. Directed by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland, the film broaches the topic with a compassionate yet truthful look at Alzheimer's. "Still Alice" also stars Kristen Stewart and Alec Baldwin.

"Still Alice" will close the 2014 HIFF on Monday, October 13 at Guild Hall in East Hampton. The 22nd Annual Hamptons International Film Festival will be held over Columbus Day Weekend, from Thursday October 9, through Monday, October 13.

Guild Hall is located at 158 Main Street in East Hampton. For tickets or more information about HIFF, visit hamptonsfilmfest.org.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didn’t change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
