New York City - The 11th Annual
Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, the only major theatrical prize awarded solely by votes cast online by audience members, is announcing its move from online to in-person this spring with its first-ever live ceremony at Jazz at Lincoln Center - The Allen Room on Sunday evening, May 15, 2011, hosted by
Vanessa Williams. The ceremony, by invitation only, will feature the presentation of awards in traditional categories as well as several unique to the Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards including Favorite Diva Performance, Favorite Breakthrough Performance, and Favorite Onstage Pair. Plus, for the first time, there will be an award for national tours, to encourage the participation of Broadway fans not only in New York but across the country. All awards are decided solely by the voting of theater fans on Broadway.com.

Beginning Friday, April 29, fans will be able to choose nominees from lists of every possibility in each category on Broadway.com. On Thursday, May 5, the nominees will be announced on the site and voting will begin. The winners will be announced live at the ceremony on Sunday, May 15.
