East Hampton - In honor of Guild Hall's special exhibition "Winslow Homer: The Pleasures of Summer," Guild Hall is inviting a small group who will have fun traveling to Maine this coming summer to visit Homer on his home turf to see where and what he painted on June 10 through June 15. The trip will celebrate Guild Hall's exhibition of Winslow Homer from June 19 through July 25.

Guild Hall has planned a very special five days with fine accommodations in both Portland and Rockport. Guests will visit great art museums, private collections and studios of well-known Maine artists - along the way sampling some of Maine's cuisine in restaurants best known only to Mainiacs.

Among the special visits are the newly-opened Winslow Homer exhibition at the Portland Museum of Art, private gardens at Prouts Neck, and a day by private boat to two picturesque islands - one to visit an estate with a collection of contemporary American art, and the other to visit the studio of world famous pop artist, Robert Indiana.

Register early to be assured a place on the tour, and contact Guild Hall travel professional - Susan Gullia, Managing Director, Protravel International at 212-409-9555; Fax: 212-755-1376; or sgullia@protravelinc.com.
