Michael Knigin will be participating in a show at the Peter Wilhelm Cultural Center in Budapest, Hungary, along with 29 other artists from around the world, depicting/interpreting Anne Frank, her writings and her thoughts. The show opens on October 6. Knigin will have nine pieces of art included.

The exhibition will be divided into two parts on two floors: paintings will be showcased on the first gallery level and a collection of the artists' new print productions will be on display in the lower level. The East End Arts Council (EEAC)
EEAC is pleased to announce that harpist
Miriam Shilling has joined the music faculty of the School of the Arts. Shilling is a full-time harpist who has been performing on Long Island for 30 years. She is a graduate of the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, where she studied with
Arlene Wangler. She has performed in numerous venues and as a member of the pit orchestra for theatre groups through NY, NJ and CT. Recently, Shilling was seen performing for Peconic Bay Medical Center and the Peconic Landing Garden Festival. Shilling is excited to begin teaching at the School of the Arts and for the future, envisions the start of a harp ensemble. Fashion District Exhibition
William T. Hillman will be featured in the upcoming juried show at Gallery 8, which is a group exhibition featuring artists who live or work in the Fashion District and takes place as part of the annual Fashion District Arts Festival. The McNeill Art Group of Southampton is proud to announce the opening of the Tribeca Project Space in New York City. The inaugural exhibition "Plastic, Rubber + Wood," curated by Beth McNeill, will open with a reception on Wednesday, October 21, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A press preview will be held Wednesday, October 14 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. "Plastic, Rubber + Wood," is an exploration of material, through content, subject, and form. Sculptures At Max and Suzanne In Sag Harbor
Richie Cox has been working on a collaboration with
Max Barbaria, of Max and Suzanne, located at 78 Main Street in Sag Harbor, entitled "No Friends". He conceptualized and installed a series of sculptures that turned their summer-long boutique in the Hamptons into a short term gallery space this fall. The space will be open through October 12. Southampton Cultural Center Exhibits Marilyn Stevenson
Marilyn Stevenson of Southampton will be exhibiting a series of her photographs at the Levitas Center For The Arts at the Southampton Cultural Center. The show is a selection of 27 color photographs inspired by and photographed at the world renowned "Presby Memorial Iris Garden" in Montclair, NJ.
