"Land And Sea" At Pamela Williams Gallery
On Saturday, Sept. 26, the Pamela Williams Gallery (167 Main Street, Amagansett, 631-267-7817) will be having an opening reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for their new exhibit "Land and Sea," featuring works by

Ralph Carpentier,
Cynthia Knott,
Ken Robbins, and "Coastal Disturbances," a new series of paintings by
Janet Jennings. The exhibit will hang through Oct. 25.
Film by Philippe Chang At Pollock-Krasner House
This year's "Artists on Film" series will show short motion pictures by artists at the Pollock-Krasner House (830 Springs Fireplace Road, East Hampton, 631-329-4929), and is titled "Artists Make Movies: Personal and Political." The series is hosted by film historian and art critic
Marion Wolberg Weiss. The films are screened on Fridays at 7 p.m. in September, and the artists will present and discuss their work. Admission is $5, or free for Pollock-Krasner House members. No reservations are required. The series concludes on Friday, Sept. 25 with a screening of "On the Cusp," by printmaker
Philippe Cheng. Co-produced by
Kathy Engle,
Toni Ross and
Bastienne Schmidt, this documentary is an homage to President Obama and the diverse women who supported him. It is also about those who continue to dream their own "impossible dreams" regardless of race.
