Johnathan Hallgrey has been selected as the poster artist for this year's Hampton Classic Horse Show.

His artwork, "The Three Hunters," is an oil pastel that Hallgrey created in 1987. The piece was inspired by the ancient art of the Egyptians and Etruscans combined with a Modern French Art Deco theme. "The Three Hunters" was also used as the cover of the "Sir Thomas Tattletales Equestrian Counting Book."

Hallgrey is an equestrian himself, and said that he remembers admiring one of the Hampton Classic posters as a child.

"It's a great honor and privilege to have been chosen to join the ranks of outstanding equestrian art representing The Hampton Classic Horse Show," Hallgrey said.

The artist's work has been highly sought after. Celebrities, such as Hugh Jackman, Christopher Lloyd and Toni Braxton, have all purchased his work. Hallgrey's artwork can also be seen on the walls of Rockefeller Center, 20th Century Fox, and Universal Studios, to name a few.

This year marks the 40th annual Hampton Classic Horse Show. The Classic features over 100 classes of horses and riders ranging from all ages, and also offers competitions for riders with disabilities.

The 60-acre show grounds feature six show rings, a Boutique Garden and a wide variety of dining. Previous dining vendors have included Sweet & Savory Crepes, Catering By David's and Crabman World Famous Crabcakes. The four classic rings offer competitions for riders of all skill levels. The premiere competition, taking place on the Grand Prix ring, offers the tensest competition for the best of the best to compete on Sunday, August 30.

The 2015 Hampton Classic will be held from Sunday, August 23rd through Sunday, August 30th. Admission is $10 and $20 per car load. Admission for seniors is free Tuesday through Thursday and free for children on Saturday.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didn’t change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
