Broadway Method Academy Holding Hamptons Tryout Session For Summer Theater Program

On Saturday March 14th, Broadway Method Academy is inviting young East End theater enthusiasts to audition for a Musical Theatre Summer Intensive. Tryouts will take place at Elements Fitness Studio from 1 to 3 p.m. and RSVP is required.
"Our highly trained faculty works with students to help with a total understanding of the art of musical theater," said Deane. "We are excited for our Broadway Artists who will be joining us in the Hamptons this summer, as well. Any student who is interested in musical theater will absolutely want to join us this summer!"
The program is open to teens and young adults, ages 13 to 21-years-old. During the audition, prospective students will test their theater chops during a complimentary dance and vocal coaching class. Auditioners should bring clothes to dance in, dance shoe,s and have prepared a 32 bar cut of a musical theatre song of their choice.

BMA's summer intensive program will take place Monday, August 3rd through Friday, August 14th. The workshop provides the essential tools for young artists to integrate acting, singing, and dancing. Students will learn from professional talent to better their performance skills as well as prepare them for a total understanding of musical theatre. The 2-week summer intensive will feature performances, workshops, and panel discussions, concluding with a showcase cabaret.
