Following a vigorous screening process, Choral Society of the Hamptons has revealed the four South Fork high school seniors that they have chosen as the 2014 recipients of their annual scholarships for voice training.

Scholarship winners include Jacqueline Minogue, a senior at Southampton High School, who auditioned with "O Mio Babbino Caro" by Giacomo Puccini; Rebecca Dwoskin, a senior at Pierson High School in Sag Harbor, who sung "The Next Best Thing to Love" from A Class Act; Oree Livni, also a Pierson senior, who auditioned with "Libera Me," a baritone aria from Gabriel Faure's Requiem; and Megan Beedenbender, another Pierson senior and a member of the Choral Society, who auditioned with "Widmung" by Robert Schumann, in German.

Minogue, Dwoskin, Livni, and Beedenbender were vetted for the scholarship through a competitive series of auditions featuring a two-page questionnaire, sealed evaluations from a teacher rating them on 13 musical skills, and the presentation of an audition piece, with the musical accompaniment of Thomas Bohlert, the Society's principal accompanist.

The scholarship program, which was founded over two decades ago, has awarded scholarships to several dozen students, many of whom have gone on to professional careers in music or active participation in amateur musical organizations.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
