On Friday, July 11, 2014, art enthusiasts joined mixed media artist Ben Moon and renowned artist William Quigley for "Mash-Up Society." Moon and Quigley, known as "The Pleasurists," started the "Sip to the Soldiers" campaign as a way to raise awareness and money for the Soldier Ride, a Wounded Warriors event in Amagansett on Saturday July 19, 2014.

The event was held at Skrapper Studios - an urban design studio located down the alley of Schenck Fuels. The celebratory show featured a unique composition of sights and sounds. Guests were able to view Moon's new works from his Before/After series as well as Quigley's new celebrity portraits of Mick Jagger and Ethan Hawke. Painter Alexander George McCue also debuted his work at the exhibit. Moon showcased his signature "ROKLYFE" visuals while DJ Monikkr kept the beats going all night. There was also a special live performance by RockStarlet Bella Saona of "Bella and The Beast."

The event was very important to the guests. Local restaurants including The Talkhouse, BlueParrot and Casamigos Tequila were all on board to help raise money for the Wounded Warriors Project, with a percentage of sales from signature cocktails being donated to the charity. Cocktails for supporters were provided courtesy of Casamigos Tequila and a feast was catered by the local Fierros Neighborhood Pizzeria.

Skrapper Studios is located at 62 Newtown Lane East Hampton. For more information about the Solider Ride in the Hamptons, visit www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
