LongHouse Reserve In East Hampton Holds 2014 Student Annual VII Awards Ceremony

The LongHouse Reserve held their Annual Student VII Awards Ceremony honoring elementary through high school art students on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton.

It was a beautiful Tuesday afternoon in the Hamptons, and the students were dressed in their best and thrilled to support their artwork which was on display for the crowd. Parents and family members commemorated the day by photographing the accomplished students next to their artwork.

LongHouse Reserve received over 400 submissions, both individual and collaborative, and during the ceremony awarded 140 ribbons to students K through 12th graders from 15 participating school districts. Honors were given out in a variety of categories like 3D Mixed Media, Fashion Illustration, Digitally Manipulated Photography, Printmaking Whole Grade Collaborative, Art of Science Class Collaborative, Sculpture Whole Grade collaborative, Ceramics Collaborative, Art and Poetry Whole Grade Collaborative, Painting, Photography, & Original Choreography Collaborative, Performing Arts Music & Original Composition.

The award-winning student work will be on display in the East Hampton branches of Suffolk County National Bank throughout this summer season.
