Real Estate is helping those in need by hosting a winter coat and accessories drive. New or gently used donations will be accepted and items should be dropped off at Town & Country's Montauk Office by Monday, December 19th.
The Montauk Office also decided to focus specifically on raising awareness and support for the needs of the Eastern Farm Workers Association during the season of giving.
"We often forget that there are farms here on Long Island who make use of migrant farm workers," explained Rori Finazzo, who is based out of the Montauk Town & Country Office. "These folks are still very much like the days of Tobacco Road. They go from crop to crop."
For the past month, Finazzo and Town & Country members of the Montauk, Bridgehampton, and East Hampton offices collected dozens of toys that will be donated to the Eastern Farm Workers Association. The generous contribution will allow struggling East End families to truly have a joyous seasonal experience without worrying about how they are going to afford to put presents underneath the tree for their little ones.
"It made me feel good to do this as I am sure it made everyone who donated feel," Finazzo added.
The Montauk Office is located at #1 Carl Fisher Plaza. For more information, contact Theresa Eurell, Town & Country Real Estate Montauk Office Manager, 631-668-0500 or visit www.townandcountryhamptons.com.
