Saunders & Associates, a Hamptons real estate firm, recently announced that Theresa Quigley has joined their team as Executive Managing Director and General Counsel. Quigley, residential real estate attorney and current Deputy Supervisor of the East Hampton Town Board, has vast experience with land use matters on the East End of Long Island.
“I have worked on many transactions with Theresa and admire her ability to create consensus in difficult negotiations,” said Andrew Saunders, President of Saunders & Associates.
The East Hampton native will work with Saunders’ agents in connection with assisting in negotiating deals, structuring transactions, and advising on real estate legal matters including zoning and permitting. She will also assist in managing the firm’s operations and will be based out of the Saunders’ planned East Hampton office where she will serve its manager. Saunders will break ground on the new Hamptons location in the near future.
2013 was an extremely successful year for Saunders & Associates; they transacted over $1.1 billion in sales of residential Hamptons properties, hired their 120th agent and celebrated their five-year anniversary. “Our success is the result of our effectiveness in empowering our brokers to list and sell properties,” noted Saunders. “With our distinctive advertising and international web marketing, our lead generation for properties in the Hamptons increased 22 percent over the prior year.”
