Born in Mannheim, Germany, Ms. Hoppe moved with her parents to the U.S. at an early age, where her father was instrumental in launching Mercedes Benz, North America. She attended American schools through high school and received an MA in Fine Arts (photography) and English Literature from the University of Heidelberg in Germany. Her passion for photography ultimately brought her to NYC in 1984. Opening her own full service photography production company, she has done work for such companies as Swarovski, BMW and others. In 1995 she moved to the Hamptons full time.

"Mohna has been an integral part of the community. She's taught school in the East Hampton district, been a member of the PTA and involved in a host of other civic activities," Mr. Ehrhardt added. "Her bilingual/bicultural background, her photographer's eye for detail, and her intricate knowledge of the local real estate market will be a great fit for us, and for her."
