She has become a leading broker in the Hamptons as well as on Long Island where she ranked as the top agent at Prudential Douglas Elliman for several years in a row surpassing more than 3,000 agents with her impressive sales record.
Susan Breitenbach, Associate Broker with The Corcoran Group, has handled over $1 billion in real estate sales since she began her career more than two decades ago. Breitenbach's impressive sales record has placed her at the top of the list of the Hamptons top producing brokers for years.
Enzo Morabito, Executive Vice President at Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Bridgehampton, states "I am extremely optimistic for sellers and buyers. The two parties are no longer speaking different languages." Morabito, born in Italy in 1946, started in real estate in 1989, and as he recalls "I got my license right as things collapsed."
Opening our new "Broker's Outlook' series is Mala Sander, a senior vice president at The Corcoran Group. You can find her in the firm's Sag Harbor office when she is not out taking a listing or showing property to customers.
Heike Moras, Associate Broker at Engel & Volkers Real Estate in Southampton, was born in Germany. She has been coming to the Hamptons for more than 20 years and as befits the international brokerage concern she is fluent in English, German and Spanish.
Sales have been slow, everybody knows that, but now the question on everyone's tongue is how is the rental market going? The difference is that many potential renters who would have otherwise pulled the trigger, or made a deal on a house, are waiting, comfortable in the certainty that as the season approaches their hand will only strengthen. 4 comments
Alas, in the past three weeks, not unlike the inevitable arrival of springtime, the phones in real estate offices have begun to ring once again. Buyers and renters alike have started to return to the region in the hopes of owning or renting a piece of The Hamptons and a slice of the mystique that infers. This is not to suggest that we are back to business as usual with bidding wars and the suggestion of - "buy it now before someone else beats you to it" - but it is to say real estate in The Hamptons still holds appeal. 4 comments
