Honorees included Ivan Cheung (Corporate Vision Award), Robert J. Easton (Heart of Gold Award) and Jerome B. Zeldis, MD, PhD (Advances in Cancer Research Award).
Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) posthumously paid tribute to footwear industry icon Vince Camuto during its 19th Annual Collaborating for a Cure Benefit Dinner & Auction at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. The evening included a performance from Roger Daltrey of The Who and introduced the SWCRF Vince Camuto Memorial Cancer Research Program in honor of Mr. Camuto. This year's Collaborating for a Cure raised nearly $2.5 million for SWCRF cancer research programs.
Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and Vogue hosted an exclusive dinner in New York City where they announced that Laura Vassar Brock and Kristopher Brock of Brock Collection would be awarded the 2016 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award. Attendees included Michael Kors, Anna Wintour, Zendaya, Diane von Furstenberg, Kelly Rowland, Olivia Munn, Hilary Rhoda, Karlie Kloss and many other notable names.
Costumed canines and their owners marched down Jobs Lane and Main Street in Southampton during the annual Little Lucy's Halloween Pet Parade. The afternoon also included entertainment by Beau Hulse, costume contests, and a post parade party. Proceeds from the afternoon supported Southampton Animal Shelter.

Breast Cancer Research Foundation celebrated awarding $57 million in grants to more than 250 breast cancer investigators around the world during its Symposium and Awards Luncheon at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. Held at Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook, models included Erik Coleman, former NFL safety for the New York Jets, his wife Sabrina, and Patrick Lennon, former MLB short stop and outfielder.
Lionsgate and Lakeshore Entertainment with Bloomberg Pursuits hosted a screening of "American Pastoral" at Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan. Several of the film's stars, including Dakota Fanning, Uzo Aduba, and Ewan McGregor - who also directed the film - attended the screening, which also brought out Kristen Stewart, Emily Mortimer and Alessandro Nivola, Helena Christensen and many other notable names.
