Proceeds from the well-attended event supported Team Rubicon, a disaster response organization composed of military veterans and qualified civilians, and Give More Hugs, who is providing food, hygiene items, and other supplies to those impacted by Hurricane Maria.

The 9th Annual IGHL (Independent Group Home Living Program, Inc.) Fashion Fling & Luncheon at Westhampton Country Club was another sell-out and huge success. Over 200 women attended the benefit in support of the not-for-profit organization which provides services for men, women and children with intellectual disabilities.
Herrick Park was home to East Hampton Village's first annual Fall Festival, organized by the Chamber of Commerce. Booths of local artists, food, crafts, business owners, and non-profit organizations lined the Park, while local musicians entertained the crowd, and a Kidzone kept kids busy.
It was a "touching moment," for Casita Maria Center for Arts and Education as they celebrated Fiesta 2017 in the wake of two leveling natural disasters, said Jacqueline Weld Drake, who chairs their uber elegant galas with Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia. "We have primarily been a Puerto Rican organization started by two schoolteachers... And now, again, we have this immigration from Puerto Rico and we, again, have many, many Puerto Rican clients whom we are helping ... as well as a great many Mexican clients who come for our programs and the safe haven that we provide."
