Hundreds gathered at Equuleus Polo Club in Water Mill for the sixth annual Hamptons Cup presented by Cartier. The match between Team NetJets and Team Solaia Capital, which featured international polo star Nacho Figueras, raised more than $650,000 for Robin Hood, New York’s largest poverty-fighting organization.
Despite dreary weather, over 200 men, women, children, and a few furry friends supported the Hope for Depression Research Foundation’s (HDRF) second annual "Walk of Hope + 5K Run to Defeat Depression" in Southampton. The USA Track and Field-sanctioned event raised over $140,000 for advanced depression research.

In addtition to tastings from some of the leading chefs, restaurants and food and beverage brands, the evening featured a performance from Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright and recording artist Sophie Beem, a protégé of Beyoncé.
The Thomas Moran Trust hosted a Garden Party on the historical grounds of the Thomas Moran and Mary Nimmo Moran Studio in East Hampton Village. The summer soiree commemorated the final phase of the meticulous restoration efforts and also served as the unveiling of the 19th-century inspired garden of Mary Nimmo Moran, recreated by the Garden Club of East Hampton.
It was a "ta da" moment at the Southampton Hospital's 59th Annual Summer Party. "We formally joined with Stony Brook on Tuesday," President and CEO Robert S. Chaloner told Hamptons.com on the lawn leading to the air conditioned tents that house the gala, where socialites preened for admiring cameras. "We're now officially Stony Brook Southampton Hospital! It will be an opportunity to bring all of their resources and skills together with all the great things about Southampton Hospital."
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation's (BCRF) two-part summer event, the sixth annual Hamptons Paddle & Party for Pink, kicked off with a WPA sanctioned morning paddle board race in Sag Harbor that brought out Laird Hamilton, Gabrielle Reece, Jimmy Buffett, Katie Lee, Jill Martin, Maria and Larry Baum, Stacey Griffith, and Lisa and Ted Harbert. The two benefits raised nearly $2 million for BCRF.
Jessica Alba, founder of The Honest Company, along with stylists and designers of The GREAT, Emily Current and Meritt Elliott, celebrated the launch of their upcoming limited edition diaper collection for The Honest Company, The GREAT Adventure, at a private residence in East Hampton, benefiting Baby2Baby. Guests included Baby2Baby co-founder Kelly Sawyer, Rachel Zoe with sons, Skyler and Kaius, and Molly Sims and children, Brooks, Scarlett, and Grey.
