Hampton Designer Showhouse Kick-Off Party Goes Park Avenue Style

New York City - Stephanie and Ric Barbatelli of E. Braun & Co. hosted a kick-off party for the 2009 Hampton Designer Showhouse on Tuesday, June 30 at their new Park Avenue location. The beautiful new space designed by Susan Orsini of Orsini Design Associates was an ideal backdrop for the announcement of the roster of talented designers who will transform the Showhouse into a world class showcase of the design industry. This year's Showhouse is presented by Traditional Home magazine and will, as always, benefit Southampton Hospital and will be open to the public on Sunday, July 26 in Water Mill.

The Hampton Designer Showhouse, now in its ninth year, is a showcase for America's premiere design talent. Approximately 20 top interior designers and decorative artists will turn a lavish shingle style home, built by Farrell Building Co, into a design masterpiece. This year's Showhouse is located in Water Mill, one of the most picturesque hamlets of Southampton.

Jenny Bradley, Senior Lifestyle & Design Editor at Traditional Home Magazine - this year's Showhouse sponsor, delivered the news that everyone had gathered to hear - the list of this year's participating designers. Her reading of the list was greeted with cheers and whistles, especially as it include a number of first-timers, rising stars all.
