New York City - With the second season of Bravo TV's "Real Housewives of New York" set to begin on Feb. 17, the ultra luxurious Bruno Jamais Restaurant Club in Manhattan played host to stars
Alex McCord and
Simon van Kempen and a host of media who tried to get the scoop. The couple dished on their upcoming parenting book. "Johan, our youngest son appears more in season two because he's a bigger boy. But with Francois, we have a star in the making," said Van Kempen to a
People magazine reporter at the event.
Although the second season premieres in just a few weeks, media who wanted the inside scoop on the reality antics and potential cat-fights among the housewives were left out in the cold as Alex and Simon had to remain mum on the exciting details.
Reps from NBC Universal released a statement that explained that the second season takes viewers on an up-close and very personal look at a lifestyle where front row seats to fashion shows, ritzy night lives, and Hamptons estates are an everyday occurrence.
A charity raffle was held to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation with items such as a $4,500 necklace courtesy of precious jewelry designer Rebecca Koven, a Marilyn Monroe collection purse from www.Cyndyesty.com, a weekend stay at The Hotel Chandler, a rare collector's item box and Voodoo Tiki Tequila bottle, an NBA player's duffel bag, a cashmere duster from
Minnie Rose, and numerous other fabulous prizes. All guests left with gift bags from MakeLoveNotTrash.com filled with gift certificates, beauty products, and other lifestyle goodies. While at the party, guests were treated to delicious fare from the hosting restaurant along with tasting tables from G'Vine Gin and Voodoo Tiki Tequila.

I agree with the 1st. comment. We are laughing at you, not with you! Being on "Reality T.V." does not make you super special just stupid.
