The Sixth Floor of Bloomingdale's hosted the School of American Ballet's preview party on January 18th that celebrated the upcoming Winter Ballet Ball and their new partnership with Waterford as they introduced The Waterford Ballet Collection. The black-tie Winter Ballet Ball will be held on Wednesday, February 15 at The Allen Room, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Over 100 people attended the reception including Winter Ballet Ball's Chairmen Somers White Farkas, Joanne de Guardiola, Liz Peek and Junior Chairmen Chelsea Clinton, Allison Aston and Jill Kargman. The crowd mingled through tables set with fine bone china and crystal as they sipped Pom Royales from their Waterford stemware. Student ballerinas in colorful tutus glided among guests, enhancing the youthful elegance of the new collection. With patterns named Giselle, Presage and Ballet Ribbon, The Waterford Ballet Collection uses the fluidity of ballet movements creating a design for those who appreciate graciousness and tradition, as well as the excitement of the kinetic. China and crystal stemware offer perfect synergy, as a ballet duet might in a grand performance.

The money raised through the Winter Ballet Ball helps SAB ensure the future of classical ballet in America.
