- As part of their on-going "Dinner And..." series, guests at OSO

's The Naked Stage
has to offer during their Naked Stage Marathon starting next weekend.

, Artistic Director at Guild Hall, Josh Perl
, founder of The Naked Stage and actor Kate Mueth
were on hand to read scenes from three plays they will be performing; "The Life Boat is Sinking" and "The Best Daddy" by Shel Silverstein, which will be performed during the "Taboo" evening at Rowdy Hall
and "God" by Woody Allen
, which will be read on the last night of the marathon in the John Drew Theater.
The three readings were varied in subject matter and pace, but all were darkly wry and witty, especially the Silverstein works, which were broken up by the dramatic neurosis of the Woody Allen piece. "We get to do so many different things," Mueth explained. "That's part of what's so great about the Naked Stage."
"I'm really excited about it," said Gladstone. "It's really going to be the first time we're going to be using the theater after the two year, $14 million renovations. Johnny Cash
's daughter, Cindy Cash, will be performing, as well as Mandy Patinkin
and we're really hoping for a good turnout. I know what it's like to drive from Southampton to East Hampton with the traffic," with Perl interjecting "but it's going to be well worth it."
