At the picturesque home of Bruce T. Sloane, located on the water in East Hampton, Live Out Loud hosted their 6th Annual Pride event in the Hamptons on Saturday, July 5, 2014. Live Out Loud is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering LGBTQ youth, by connecting them with successful and inspirational LGBT role models in their community.

The evening included cocktails, hors d'oeuvres from Brent Newsom Caterer, a silent auction, dinner from Michael's at Maidstone Restaurant and dancing. Several generations involved with the Live Out Loud organization convened to commemorate Pride Month and support the program. Attendees included three former Live Out Loud scholarship winners, who shared with the crowd the positive impact that the Live Out Loud foundation has had on their lives. New Kids on the Block's Jonathan Knight and clothing designer, writer and brand consultant, Hal Rubenstein also attended the soiree.

Through the Live Out Loud program, scholarship winners have been offered internships at prestigious companies like Ralph Lauren. Guests heard from the Chairman of the Board, Adam Levine, and the Founder and Executive Director of Live Out Loud, Leo Preziosi, Jr., who suggested that the community get more involved with Live Out Loud programming. He also told the heartwarming story of a young man whose life was changed by a Live Out Loud, "Behind the Scenes," program. This young man met openly gay employees who worked for The New York Times, and was inspired to continue to pursue his dream of becoming a journalist.
